Somaliland Should Understand That Peace Is The Axle Around Which Somaliland Revolves.
The ability to solve conflicts and confrontations requires wisdom, maturity and tempering heat of experience.
Those of us who profess to favor peaceful solution to Colonel Caare’s problem, and yet depreciate his conditions, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground.
Of course peace is to life as to what blood is to human body. Peace is like a seed that grows into a sapling, plant and tree.
Peace is the axle around Somaliland revolves. If this axle gets broken, Somaliland would not revolve.
Somaliland administration should bring into its system and its mind, something that will steadily and unerringly remove antagonism and replace it with reconciliation. And that is aspiration.
Antagonism is a fire that burns and burns and finally consumes us. Aspiration is a glowing fire that secretly uplifts our character and finally liberates us. Thirst for the highest is aspiration. Thirst for the lowest is antagonism.
Aspiration is submission, and submission is an openness with God’s will. It is through this perception that Somaliland will then have a heart of illumination and a life of its own reality.
As the old adage goes, “a battle lost or won is easily described, understood, and appreciated, but the moral growth of a great nation requires reflection, as well as observation, to enrich and appreciate it.”
Peace, joy and beauty are for our constant use. Peace sweetens life. Grief and sorrow from absence of peace are for Somaliland misery.
