We ask international Community to condemn this act of racism from Cornell Muse Bihi Goverment

We condemn and dissociate ourselves from Mr. jama Ismail Ige aka jama Shabeel chairman of central committee of Kulmiye Party and his opinions in the strongest terms possible. We do not condone his behavior and most definitely do not share his sentiments about   Kikuyu people of Kenya .

In the Middel of legality discussion of Berbera international port Agreement between United Arab Emirates and Somaliland …….., Mr. Jama Shabeel accused  WADDANI PARTY displaying Kikuyu mentality for further explanation of his Racist statement , Mr. Jama Shabeel stated that when British government proposed to invest agriculture land in Kenya Kikuyu people refused because they thought Great Britain will transfer their Agriculture land to United Kingdom .

Those are the same  words we were using to discriminate our SOMALI BANTU Brothers and Sisters , It means Bantu Somali people as well as Kikuyu people are less intelligent than the semi -Arab Somalians .

Mr. Jama Shabeel doesn’t want to mention or he doesn’t know that Those white farmers owned 70% of the most arable land in Kenya which they had inherited from a colonial past built on racial hierarchy.

And even though the Lancaster House agreement between the British government and the Kenyans had provisions for land redistribution and guaranteed compensation for white farmers, when the time came the British and other countries, including the United States, did not fulfill their part of the deal to fund the program.

The racism in KULMIYE PARTY  is not  not accidental but structural their Chairman Bigoted colonel Musa Bihi Abdi  plainly told government minister from Gabooye minorities  ” oh yeah , your are from the untouchables It was not God’s intention that you experience his grace ” .

Using that kind of language to describe one of Somaliland‘s  good friends and neighbours is irresponsible and certainly not in Somaliland‘s best interests

Mr . Jama Shabeel’s and Colonel Muse Bihi Abdi  comments don’t reflect the views of  Somaliland  or the strength of our friendship . Kenya is one of our most important relationships and unwarranted sprays like this are not helpful at all.

The slogan of Somaliland is ” We perfect our relationships by understanding that we may have different stories, but we hold common hopes; that we may not look the same and we may not have come from the same place, but we all want to move in the same direction – towards a better future for of children and our grandchildren.”
