People have right to ask to demand to their their rights but Hargeisa cannot have two mayors and two deputy mayors as this mean divided city like west and east Berlin which is not in case of Somaliland
The so called press conference with regard appointing two mayors and two deputy mayors by few persons in Hargeisa have surprised me the way this illogic press conference have surprised the rest of the people living in Somaliland capital Hargeisa. There is logic means to demand any type of services short from the public from any part of the world, but there is no logic of dividing Somaliland capital into two cities like west and East Berlin. For me, this so called press conference is not more than laughable joke or comedy. Few persons living in Hargeisa cannot divide Somaliland capital into two cities with different administrations systems. This so called press is based on emotions and not commonsense which is common commodity throughout the world. Somaliland is not like Somalia that has not peace, rule ofΒ Β law but Somaliland is peaceful country equipped law and order. Somaliland has constitution that defines how to elect each and every constitutional body like the president, vice president, the House of Representatives, the house of elders and the local councils in all Somaliland regions and districts as a result Hargeisa mayors and deputy mayors were elected by Hargeisa local council in line with Somaliland constitution.
As all of us fully aware, originally, Hargeisa mayors and deputy mayors were elected by residents of the capital after contested local election in 2012.Β Β We should think in civilised way whenever we would like to execute certain desired tasks but think like the law of the jungle during the Stone Age. During Stone Age people never used thinking wisely or in commonsense. Electing mayor and deputy mayor by few persons reminds us the way people used to think during the Stone Age.Β Β The truth is no one has the capability to make chaos in our capital city like Mogadishu. It is common to happen practically people dream while sleeping in night time, appointing second mayor and deputy mayor in Hargeisa is typical midday dream which mean impossible to happen.
Β People should differentiate between emotional thinking and realistic thinking which mean the difference between the reality and fiction. People should differentiate between objectives and subjective which mean the difference between facts and opinion.Β Β The question that surprised everyone in Hargeisa is, which constitutional authority that permitted these few persons to elect mayor and deputy mayor in two districts in our capital, Hargeisa.Β Β Zooming up,Β If WishesΒ wereΒ horses, beggars WouldΒ RideΒ it. This so called press conference is not more than a wish for few persons which is impossible to happen. Such things could happen in Somalia like Mogadishu but not a country the world described as an oasis of peace and democracy which mean Somaliland. Suitable advice to these few persons is, carefully think possibilities and impossibilities before making any press conferences, in other words one should not advocates something that will not happen in reality but could happen in fiction films
