Why colonel Muse Bihi Abdi is different from all other presidents? Because Mr. Bihi governs as a great divider.

No other president has done that. Not even President Abdirahman Ahmed Ali, who took office when the country was a lot more divided than it is now and there was civil war raging across the country.  He said in that infamous Borama conference . . . let us strive to bind up the nation’s wounds for that I resign. President Abdirahman Ahmed Ali resigned to preserve the unity of the country, can Colonel Muse Bihi Abdi spring over his shadow too?  We wonder! The president is expected to speak for the entire country – not just his “Sub-Clan” and  his companion warlord Mr. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed . There are even rumors now in Somaliland the two ex- warlords Mr. Bihi an Mr. Kahin have shared presidency which means that Mr. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed is the president of eastern regions of Somaliland  and Colonel Muse Bihi Abdi  is the President of Berbera corridor while uncrowned Prime minster  Abdiasis Mohamed Samaale manages Awdal and Salal regions. The funny thing is we have now in Somaliland the super minister also known as super Mario H.E . Sa’ad Ali Shire which is now  Minister of finance plus minister of planning plus minster of foreign affairs ………….. Hi  President Muse Bihi Abdi Sir , WE THE PEOPLE are demanding to give Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire the Fourth ministry , make him ASAP  minister of interior …..

 There is no escaping the tone that colonel Muse Bihi Abdi sets. The tone that he sets is angry and accusatory, especially towards critics who argue that he bears responsibility for the incendiary rhetoric and deeds tearing the country apart. He endorses baseless hate of social media individuals towards Garhajis Nation lately his whole speech in Borama Kulmiye party conference was based on hate speech from two ladies of his clan seen at social media.  Colonel Muse Bihi Abdi and his Heego done nothing but stoke that type of hate towards Garhajis that led former finance minister Mr. AbdiAsis Mohamed Samale calling Garhajis nation public enemy number one .

A great President’s work can be summed up in one sentence. And, that when a person hears that sentence, they don’t even have to hear the name of the President to know who is being talked about.

• “He preserved the union and freed the slaves.”

• “He lifted America/World out of a great depression and helped to win a World War.”

• Abolished apartheid in South Africa.

• The chairman of SNM who led liberating Somaliland from the dictatorial regime of President Sayid Barre & first president of Somaliland .

• Restoring unity.

• Law & Order.

• Corruption and Chaos.

•  A Divider ….Sa’ad Muse Clan First ( Not Somaliland First ) ,  $ 80.000.000 Corruption in one year , Tukaraq War, El-Afweyn war ,  Sanaag war and still counting …

You probably don’t have to be told that the above sentences are describing the work of President Abraham Lincoln , President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President Nelson Mandela , President Abdirahman Ahmed Ali , President  Mohamed Haji Ibrahim Egal , President Dahir Riyale Kaahin, President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silaanyo and  Maybe if there is no change Colonel Muse Bihi Abdi respectively.

So alongside his great weakness we think Bihi’s greatest failing is his loyalty to his sub-clan/ comrades even when the evidence of massive corruption is obvious. Colonel Bihi simply isn’t up to the task of dealing with it – even within his own Sub-Clan.

Perhaps true greatness, or a truly great President, is someone who does the right things for the right reasons without expecting grand external rewards. They don’t do things “to be the best” or “to be famous” or “to be a legend”. Instead they sacrifice those ambitions in favor of simply doing what the people around them most need.
