On May 09, 2019, the biggest containerized ship known as Busan Trade Valletta carrying 1400 has dicked Somaliland Berbera port. The length of this ship is 210 meter. This is set a new record in the history of berbera port. The marine staff of the port are fully equipped the capacity to handle this size ship. 1200 containers loaded top the ship from the port. It took around 60 hours to offload and load 2600 containers. This number of containers carrying by the ship are twice than in the past.
In reality, this is wonderful achievement. Previously the highest record was containerized ship carrying 700 containers. Containerships are cargo ships that carry all of their load in truck-size intermodal containers, in a technique called containerization.
